Sharing your survey
The most commonly asked question we get is, "can we have a middle ground rating / rating scale?" We have done extensive testing and the scale responses drive the majority of respondents into the middle, which provides no value to leadership when reviewing the feedback.
Overview
The binary scale forces an "on balance" assessment of the week and the sentiment tracking shows the overall performance of leadership in addressing the issues they can and improving the responses.
Signals is designed to extract the best and most actionable data for leadership teams to work with and improve their business. Although rating scales are often more comfortable, and certainly more commonly used, they are not the best way to measure performance and drive action from the management group through the business.

QR codes
This survey format is useful for collecting off-line feedback quickly from customers as they complete a transaction or experience. The QR code method is now a commonly understood way of blending online and off-line experiences and is most commonly seen with food ordering apps like Mr. Yum.
Some ways you can use this would be:
- In store / Venue Posters. Add a poster requesting feedback from customers and patrons about their experience in the venue.
- Invoices / Receipts. Add to invoices and receipts issued after a service or product is delivered to learn more about the customer experience as they purchased from you, or to know more about the product.
- Counter Top / Table Top Stands. Find out about the customer service, or hospitality, of the team as the customer is in your venue.
- Tee Shirts. For promotional staff or other customer service professionals, adding to a tee for scanning is another way to collect information about thier experience.
- Product packaging. Add the code to the product packaging for easy feedback collecting from the customers after purchase.
There's many more ways the codes can be used. Basically anywhere that a customer has the opportunity to scan and offer the feedback.
