Signing in to Signals is fast, secure, and password-free. Signing in to Signals

Overview

You can sign in to Signals using your email address and a one-time temporary password.

Instead of using a traditional, permanent password, Signals takes a different route to keep things more secure and streamlined. Every time you sign in, you’ll receive a temporary password—valid for a short window—delivered straight to your inbox. This means:

  • You don’t need to remember or manage a static password
  • Your account is protected from weak or reused passwords
  • Each sign-in is tightly linked to your verified email identity

We believe this method reduces the risk of unauthorized access and keeps things simple, especially in a workplace setting where access and anonymity both matter.

No passwords. No problem. Just security built for the modern workplace.

Signals uses time-sensitive, one-time passwords (also known as magic links) to verify your identity—no need to remember or manage static passwords. This approach mirrors the philosophy behind FIDO2 standards: reduce the risk of phishing, eliminate password reuse, and rely on verified channels for authentication.

Each sign-in acts as a lightweight form of MFA, combining something you have (your inbox) with something you know (your email address). It’s faster, safer, and designed to keep both your access and your anonymity protected.
