Members are employees, clients and stakeholders who you want to hear from regularly to understand your business issues and opportunities better.
Your members are the people you will be able to send surveys to. The organisation will have a master list of members, and they can be segmented to send individual surveys to, for example, you might have a survey specifically for the design team, so you will tag your members as 'design' but you can also have one for the finance team, and have those members tagged as 'finance'.
The basics
We have three ways to add your team members; add members one by one in the dashboard, bulk import a CSV file or share a link allowing your team to onboard themselves. The video takes you through the path of adding your team into Signals.
Add a member
Once you have the Members added, you can organise them into Teams. These can be custom groupings where you might want to target them with different questions. For example, you might have Finance Team, Design Team and Legal Team. When you survey these teams, you will have an understanding of where your responses are coming from. However, don't make the teams too small. This reduces the anonymity of the survey which impacts the quality of the data.
In our experience, teams of up to 300 are manageable without needing to be broken down, and the data indicates the area where your issues or opportunities are.
